Hey guys! Mudkip here, and today we are talking about one of favorite theories about Pokemon! This is the theory that you KILLED GARY'S RATICATE?! WHAT?! Before we get started, I got some of the information below from Game Theories, so go watch that video first! Also this is JUST A THEORY! Ok, lets get started!
We all hate Gary. I mean come on! He's Professor Oak's whiny grandson! He's always trying to one up you in everything! But what if YOU'RE the monster! So we see Gary's Raticate alive and well right? Then, the next time you battle him, he's a Pokemon down. What Pokemon is missing? Raticate. If this doesn't sound any alarms, then this next part will. The next time we see Gary, he's in Pokemon Tower. Pokemon Tower is a giant graveyard for Pokemon. What's he doing there? The theory is that he's there to bury his murdered Raticate.
Now before we go on, there's a few things we need to mention. How did Raticate die? As far as we know, you can only faint your Pokemon in battle right? Wrong. As we see in the Pokemon Animated Series, if you don't get a Pokemon to a PokeCenter soon, they could die. This is why we return our Pokemon to their PokeBalls, to shelter them from further harm. But since Pikachu won't go in the stupid PokeBall, he almost dies. Also PokeBalls don't heal the Pokemon, since you can't take them out until they are healed.
Game Theories says that this theory is wrong, and they've got tons of evidence backing it up. But that's a whole new theory entirely so I won't get into it. Ok guys. you've heard the theory. What do you think? Let me know in the comments. And go check out Game Theories Video on this!
