Super Smash Sunday: Ghiriham VS Zant

Hey guys! What's up! We have an exciting announcement to make! As most of you know, Zelda Breath of the Wild is being released THIS FRIDAY! So to countdown and celebrate, we will be having Zelda week! Every post this week will be all about The Legend of Zelda. So lets begin with our head to head battle!

Shiek: Now we all know who the best is just by looking at the title. Zant. Zant is my all time favorite Zelda villain for many reason. Yes, maybe it does help that he is from Twilight Princess, but that's ok. First off, he is crazy. Literally crazy. He doesn't show it at first , but as you progress through the game you see him getting more and more frustrated, and he reveals his real personality. Now I personally think that that is a cool thing, and it is really awesome when you are playing the game and you have to fight a psycho maniac. One thing that makes Zant better than Ghirahim, is that he took over an entire world when he was given Ganondarf"s power. Ghirahim used his power to scamper all over the land looking for a teenage girl. Also, Zant's boss battle is awesome. It takes you back through all of the dungeons in the game where you are required to use all of the weapons and skills you have acquired through your journey. Then it all ends with an epic sunset sword fight in Hyrule field. Even though you already know who won, you may as well read the other ones argument.

 

Fierce Deity: Ghirahim is clearly the best because of how fabulous he is. Have you seen how long his tongue is! He is practically a frog! His hair is amazing. He can turn into Demise's sword and that is really awesome, and a key part to the games title, Skyward Sword. He has an epic final battle where he kidnaps Zelda and tries to resurrect Demise. This takes place in the Sealed Grounds. I personally love his clothes and cloak. He is an awesome villain. Try to beat that Zant.

Mudkip: Bowser is truly the best. The King Koopa will stop at nothing to squash the Mario Bros. and make Princess Peach his. But Bowser isn't heartless like Ganondorf. In Super Paper Mario, Bowser teams up with Mario and the gang to become one of the Legendary Heroes of Four. But don't think he's a nice guy. In Mario Party, we see the ruthlessness of Bowser as he smashes players across the board. But don't worry. He helps out the player in last place!

Sheik: Well, sure, that was very convincing, but heartlessness is so awesome and evil when it comes to villains! Bowser's main goal is to ruin some plumbers' lives and steal a dainty little princess. Ganondarf wants to rule the world and cover it with darkness. Which sounds more diabolical? Ganondorf has the power of the triforce of power. Bowser has fireballs. Ganondorf also has a lot better minions. They have swords, bows, and any other weapons you can think of. Bowser has some turtles and a few brown blobs. Bowser can be defeated by being bopped on the head by a plumber. It takes a legendary hero, with part of the triforce, (which is the most powerful thing in Hyrule), to defeat him. Now can you see who is better?

Super Smash Pokemon Sun vs. Pokemon Moon

Fierce Deity: I like Pokemon Sun. I love the legendary, Solgaleo and the starters. Like I said I'm picking Popplio, because he's so cute and he turns into a beautiful mermaid. Pokemon Sun is better than Pokemon Moon (in my opinion) because even though they have the same story line, you can find different Pokemon in each game. There are some pretty cute and awesome Pokemon in sun. Also the time in Sun is the same as your 3DS clock, but in moon the clock is 12 hours apart from your clock. Which In find would be confusing. Well that is my argument now you can listen to Samus and see what she has to offer.

Samus: I am choosing Pokemon Moon. For me, choosing my games are affected by the legendary. Lunala is an AMAZING powerful legendary that looks like a bat. I think that the fact that Moon is 12 hours apart from the DS clock could be cool, but may eventually get annoying. That's an easy fix; just change your clock. I can't wait to get my chance to play!

Super Smash Sunday: Pokemon Starter Types

Mudkip: The Water Type Pokemon is obviously the best because it conquers both Starter Types. Fire beats water, and Grass/Plant can't grow without water! Water is life. It goes from Peace to Chaos just like that! Water is balance between the Starter Types. Don't forget that the team that is DOMINATING Pokemon Go! is Mystic. Which also just happens to be *Cough* WATER *Cough*. I mean what can be cooler than having a GIANT TURTLE On your side?!

Zelda: Plant type is obviously the best because Snivy is the best! Once you upgrade Snivy enough, Snivy unlocks vine whip! How cool is that! I started pokemon with Snivy, and he is the best! Plants are really good agaisnts water types because they need water to grow so it won't affect the plant type that much. Plus who wouldn't want a cute lil' Snivy on their side?!

Shiek: Ha! You think you can end this without even mentioning the best type? That's right, FIRE TYPES! I mean come on! Fire is one of the strongest types! It is super strong against plant, ice, rock and steel types, and pretty strong against many others. Also, fire types represent the best Pokémon GO team, Valor. When you start your journey with your new Pokémon, at first, you encounter a lot of plat types, which fire is super strong against. When fire types evolve, they normally also become another type, along with fire. Now most Pokémon do this but fire starters become mostly psychic or fighting types, which are also super strong. Just to top things off, the best Pokémon there is, cough* Delphox *cough* is a fire type! Super Smash Sunday: Princess Peach Vs. Zelda

       

Sheik: Hey guys! Now we all know who's the best princess right? Yup we do. Z E L D A. All that you have to do is look at her. She is an awesome warrior pirate princess ninja. What is peach again, a princess in a poofy dress? Wow. That's interesting and cool! NOT! Zelda defends herself and doesn't need some weird plumber save her. In almost every Mario game, Peach is captured by a giant turtle. Zelda? Nope. She gives up her throne for the good of her people. Take ocarina of time for example, while link is on his journey to save the WORLD, she trains herself and joins the fight against evil. Peach? She sits there captured. Zelda has a sword and a magical light bow, peach has an umbrella. Why? I just don't know. Zelda also has magical powers and from what I know peach does not. I hope I have enlightened you, because now you now see the better princess.

Princess Peach:  Hey guys! Now I'm just gonna jump right into why Peach is the better princess. Well, for starters, if someone came up to you and said name a Nintendo princess, they would probably say Princess Peach. You know why? I'll tell you, Princess Peach represents the Nintendo princesses. She is the original Princess the OG, if you will. Aside from that there have been countless times Princess Peach has fought battles. There are lots of games were you can use Peach as a main character to fight battles, even in the classics. Princess Peach also takes care of her people. Most of her kindgdom is toads obviously, and she always asks Mario to save them first, showing that she cares more for her toads then herself. Princess Peach has lots of other combat skills then just her umbrella but sense you brought up the umbrella let me just name a few things it can do. It can make her float, float on water, block enemies, fight enimes and sweep enemies aside and those are just a few things it can do. Can Zeldas stuff do that?

Super Smash Sunday NES vs. Game Cube

Fierce Deity: The Game Cube is obviously better. The Game Cube came out in 2001 so the Game Cube is newer. The Game Cube has a controller that is not a rectangle like the NES. The Game Cube has a ton of awesome games including: Pokemon Ruby,  Pokemon Sapphire, The Legend of Zelda, and The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time. The Game Cube also has awesome graphics. Are you starting to see which one is better? Good.


Mudkip: The NES is obviously better because this is where Nintendo got their household name. As the first Nintendo Console, the failure of the NES would've doomed Nintendo. The NES also saw the creation of the Nintendo poster boy, Mario. I mean, can you think of a more iconic brother duo in the history of gaming? Without the NES, we would've never seen Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros. Nintendo wouldn't be this Empire in gaming without the NES.

Mudkip: The Fire Flower is obviously the best power up in all of Super Mario Bros. Not only does it make you, Super Mario/Luigi, it allows you to instantly take out enemies. The Ice Flower only allows you to delay an enemy. Half the time you end up freezing an enemy bigger than you, and his frozen form blocks your path! Why would you want to save the lives of the monsters that captured your Princess? The Fire Flower also allow you to take out enemies from a distance!


Zelda: The ice flower is obviously the best because you only freeze your enemies instead of hurting the poor things.  You also need to freeze some of your enemies to throw at start coins. Your enemies might not even be your enemies, the reason i say this is because Bowser might have brainwashed them! Instead of being a animal killer you dont have to harm em' just freeze em'.

Super Smash Sunday: 3DS Vs. Wii U

Fierce Deity: The Wii U is obviously better. The 3DS has kind of the same game pad but that is all that the 3DS is. However the Wii U is also the game pad but you can play while watching the TV. Also the game pad has a bigger screen and if the TV is not available at the time you can play on the game pad. The Wii U has better graphics and game play. The Wii U has 700 games in total and more in the making. Did I convince you yet? If I didn't here are some more reasons. The Wii U has some new games that are not on 3DS. Including: Splatoon, Zelda Breath of the Wild, Paper Mario Color Splash, etc. Also for the Wii U you can switch it to the Wii. Can the 3DS to that? I don't think so. It's practically two systems in one! Did I convince you now? I probably did. Didn't I? Right?

Sheik: Ha! The 3DS has a lot more to it than you say. First off, the 3DS is a lot more convenient. It is small and can easily fit into a small bag. The Wii U however, is not portable. I mean, you can't carry your TV in your back pocket. The 3DS, you can play anywhere, anytime. Again, the Wii U cannot do the same. You have to have your TV plugged in if you want to play on the big screen. Even if you want to play just on the tablet, you have to be in the same room as your system. I mean, you could play your 3DS on the other side of the world, while the Wii U has to be in one room only. The Wii U has a very big tablet and it can be hard to controll at times.The 3DS games are even more convenient. Their square shaped cases and small size, make it a lot easier for storage. The 3DS also has a lot of things it is capable of that the Wii U cannot do. For example, the Wii U cannot take and store everyday pictures. It also cannot change its background theme. Now do you see which one is better? I sure do!

Samus: Luigi is obviously the best! He rocks the green outfit and overalls! Most people only think of him as Mario's brother, and Mario is the one who saved the Princess. Plus, he's the underdog, which makes him pretty special. When you play two-player, you never know what can happen. Plus, there is a theory that Luigi ended up with Princess Peach, and Mario, his heart broken, went somewhere else to search for a princess. The theory says that Mario ended up with Princess Daisy. Interesting, huh? If the EPIC Princess Peach chooses Luigi over Mario, why shouldn't we? Ever heard the saying 'First is the worst, second is the best'? Player two is obviously the best!

Princess Peach: Hey guys its Princess Peach and I am here to defend Mario! Mario… Mario Kart, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Bros, Super Mario World. What is the common theme of these games? Oh, thats right, they all have mario in the title. Do you know why? It's because the people down at Nintendo knew that Mario was going to be there guy, the guy that brings them fame and fortune. If the people down at Nintendo knew that Mario was going to be better than he obviously is, or else the games would be called Luigi Kart or Super Luigi Galaxy. However, there not. In Mario's time he has had a total of forty one different power ups! That's more Mario power ups then people in Luigi's fan base. In conclusion I love every Nintendo character but Mario is better than Luigi.
