Toru Iwatani; Rest in Peace

Hey Everyone! Sheik here! Normally I would be freaking out about something Zelda right now, but I have a bit of sad news I think should be shared. On Monday January 30th, Toru Iwatani, the creator of Pac-Man passed away. Many are in very sad about this, seeing how he made a pretty awesome game, and was a great guy. Today, I am just going to talk a bit about him, and Pac-Man in general.

Toru Iwatani was born January 25th 1955, in Tokyo Japan. In 1977, he joined the gaming company Namco. While working there, in 1980, he came up with the idea for Pac-Man. On May 22nd of that year, Pac-Man was released to the public. It was instantly a huge success. He also made many other games but none of them had as much success as Pac-Man. One of these games was Pole Position, which came out in 1982. He also had a cameo in the movie Pixels, while his character was played by an actor.

Well, like I said, I just wanted to talk a bit about him. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask! Also, if you have any post suggestions, tell us in the comments! Check out our Instagram @thenintenbrosblog! Until then, bye!
