Zelda Week: Cheesy Soup

Hello, and welcome to Zelda Week! If you were around for Pokemon week, you know how this goes. Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild comes out this Friday, so we have dedicated a week to Zelda!
So.... hey guys, Samus here. Today, I'm talking about one of my favorite semi-hidden things in the Legend of Zelda. This takes place in Twilight Princess. In Yeto and Yeta's house, you know, you're  friendly neighborhood yetis, there is a pot of deliciously cheesy soup!
Yup, you read that correctly! Just walk into Yeto and Yeta's kitchen (you may have to beat this part of the game first, as you may know, Yeta is sick at the beginning) and you will find a large pot of orange, bubbling, warm soup with a fish in it. If you  have an empty glass bottle, simply walk up and select the pot. It will tell you that the soup  is deliciously cheesy and you can scoop some up in your bottle. Later on, if you need a few quick hearts, pull out Yeto's soup (he makes it for his ill wife) and drink away! A few of you hearts will be replenished! Clearly, the secret ingredient in this soup is love.

Hey guys! What's up! We have an exciting announcement to make! As most of you know, Zelda Breath of the Wild is being released THIS FRIDAY! So to countdown and celebrate, we will be having Zelda week! Every post this week will be all about The Legend of Zelda. So lets begin with our head to head battle!

Shiek: Now we all know who the best is just by looking at the title. Zant. Zant is my all time favorite Zelda villain for many reason. Yes, maybe it does help that he is from Twilight Princess, but that's ok. First off, he is crazy. Literally crazy. He doesn't show it at first , but as you progress through the game you see him getting more and more frustrated, and he reveals his real personality. Now I personally think that that is a cool thing, and it is really awesome when you are playing the game and you have to fight a psycho maniac. One thing that makes Zant better than Ghirahim, is that he took over an entire world when he was given Ganondarf"s power. Ghirahim used his power to scamper all over the land looking for a teenage girl. Also, Zant's boss battle is awesome. It takes you back through all of the dungeons in the game where you are required to use all of the weapons and skills you have acquired through your journey. Then it all ends with an epic sunset sword fight in Hyrule field. Even though you already know who won, you may as well read the other ones argument.

 

Fierce Deity: Ghirahim is clearly the best because of how fabulous he is. Have you seen how long his tongue is! He is practically a frog! His hair is amazing. He can turn into Demise's sword and that is really awesome, and a key part to the games title, Skyward Sword. He has an epic final battle where he kidnaps Zelda and tries to resurrect Demise. This takes place in the Sealed Grounds. I personally love his clothes and cloak. He is an awesome villain. Try to beat that Zant.

Mario Games Coming Out for Nintendo Switch

      

      Hey everyone! Its Princess Peach and today I am going to be talking about something super exciting! The Mario games that have been announced for the new Nintendo Switch!

      The two Mario games that have been announced are, Super Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I have watched both of the trailers and the games look absolutely amazing! The official trailer form Super Mario Odyssey is down below, along with the official Nintendo trailer for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

      

      As you can see the graphics of both games look really good and the game-play of each looks super fun and entertaining.

      I am personally super excited for Super Mario Odyssey because its a big change of setting, as it seems to take place in a city instead of the Mushroom Kingdom or the galaxy. It is also more of a sandbox-style which is also quite a change.It has no official release date yet, but, it is definitely being released this year.

      Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has the same courses and characters as the Wii U. The graphics for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe do seem better for Nintendo Switch and there is an all new feature. You can now race your friends in the definitive version of Mario Kart 8! 

      In conclusion I am super excited for these new Mario games especially, Super Mario Odyssey! I hope you guys are just a excited as I am about these Nintendo Switch games! This is Princess Peach singing off!

Sun and Moon Card Packs!?

   Hey guys! Mudkip here, and I know we like to stay away from non-video game Pokemon stuff on this blog, but this is HUUUUUUUGE Pokemon news! So let's get right into it!
    Now I know a lot of you probably collect the Pokemon cards right? Right. And I don't blame you the cards ARE awesome! Well, recently Nintendo released Sun and Moon card packs to go right along with the Alola region we all know and love!! Cool right?

New Zelda Book, Art and Artifacts

Hey guys! Sheik here! Now before we jump in, I want you to realize that we are almost a week away, from Breath of the Wild. *Excited screams* We are so close! I am so excited. Now before I go screaming around being all super excited, guess what was released yesterday? The sequel to Hyrule Historia, Art and Artifacts.

The book was released earlier than the release date, for it was officially released yesterday. I made a not human like noise when mine came in the mail. May I just say, this book is thick. Compared to Hyrule Historia, it is a lot larger. Although, this book is made completely out of pictures. Not just any pictures though, awesome pictures.

In this book, there are a few pages for every game that has game art for all the character. It also has art for the enemies, and minor characters.

In each of the game sections, there is also a page that has every item or important object in the game. From fairies to the items you get in temples.

My favorite part of the book is the section with all of the over all game art for all the games. I especially love the ones that span over two pages, like my favorite page in the book, which is shown below.

Now I was very excited when I saw this part of the book. At the end of the book, there is a Breath of The Wild section. *Excited screams* I flipped out when I has the open able part of the book, which had some Breath of The Wild art, which is shown below.

Splatoon 2

Helloo! Fierce Deity here! I know what you're all thinking. "What I thought Fierce Deity was dead!" Well no I did not die I was just too lazy to post, and yes, I was forced to say that. Okay now that I got that done, today we will be talking about Splatoon 2! I cannot wait for when the game is released! I will be talking about all the new added stuff, and some more things about it. Now let's get started.

1. You can now press X to view the map. That is something I really need!

2. You can now use the Splat Dualies. They are pretty much two pistols, but filled with ink. I am definitely going to use those!

3. There are new songs by Callie and Marie! Although I do not know if they are in the game or not.

4. There are now new special attacks for old weapons. I cannot wait to see what new special attacks there are!

5. You can now get even more clothes clothes, and now you can get different hairstyles! I really need a new hairstyle!

Who are Waluigi and Wario?

    

      Hey guys its Princess Peach! Today I thought I'd talk about Wario and Waluigi. Clearly just by their names you can probably piece together that they are the opposite of Mario and Luigi. Wait, what game did they originate from and wait, what is their role in the games? Good questions! You see, that's why I'm here! Without further ado lets jump right into it!

      Waluigi and Wario often accompany each other much like Mario and Luigi do. Waluigi was introduced in the Mario spin off Mario Tennis. Wario was first introduced in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Waluigi is mainly created to be Luigi's arch nemesis where as Wario was created to be mainly Mario's arch nemesis.

      They are are often doing mischievous things alongside each-other, which makes sense because it is said that Waluigi dislikes the happiness of the other characters. Waluigi appears to have the ability to control water. In Mario Tennis he has the ability to control water. Wario can also control a type of element. In Mario Super Slugger Baseball Wario is able to create a tornado.

      I'm not sure if this goes for Waluigi as well, but, the creators of Wario had said that he really isn't a villain. While Wario does do some pretty mischievous things hes not really a villain.
