What's up guys! It's Mudkip! It's Thursday, so I'm bringing you a brand new Pokemon post! But this is no ordinary post! This is the craziest, most controversial theory in the world of Pokemon we hold dear. Part if this information is from The Game Theorists. So go watch the video! (after you read this post first, of course!)
This theory is called the Multiverse Theory. So the game, Alpha Ruby or Omega Sapphire, starts out with a meteor blasting towards the Earth. But we'll get into all that later. One key feature of this game: Mega Evolution. This allows you to evolve your Pokemon ONE LEVEL AHEAD OF THEIR MAX EVOLVED FORMS! This Mega Evolution only lasts for one battle. But anyway, haven't you always wondered why there was always two copies of a game? Red and Blue, Gold and Silver, Black and White, Sun and Moon, and on and on.
Shouldn't you only need one copy of the game? And why isn't mega evolving in any of the other games before this on. It's simple. Ok, not that simple. But the answer is: Each game is a different dimension. Not just each game, but each copy, version, generation. Some clues in this theory are that in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Diglett says he can feel his legs. He says he feels like they're floating. Whoa. What if the other half of Diglett exists in another dimension where Diglett is just a pair of legs without a head?
Ok time for the asteroid part. So the asteroid is hurtling towards Earth. So a group of scientists make a machine called the Link Cable. Hold on. A Link Cable was the original thing to link your GameBoy with your friend's to trade Pokemon. Remember this is before there was WiFi for Pokemon Trading. The Link Cable machine is going to blast the asteroid into another dimension. But this girl, Zinnia, drops some heavy stuff. She says that if we blast that asteroid into another dimension, that dimension will die off. WHAT?!
Ok here's where your mind gets blown. EVERY COPY OF POKEMON IS A DIFFERENT DIMENSION. Every copy, region, generation, game is a different dimension. Ever wonder why you never catch the exact same Pokemon in the exact same spot in the exact same place as your friend? This is because in your friends dimension, that Pokemon was on route 11 in Blue or whatever. But in your copy of Blue, you don't run into that Pokemon in the exact same spot on route 11. Worst of all, he has a horrible level. This also explains why you never see other live players in your game. This also explains why Mega Evolving isn't a thing. It hasn't yet been discovered in that game's dimension.
Well guys, that pretty much concludes this Earth Shattering Pokemon theory! Hoped you enjoyed! In the comments below, right your thoughts on this theory!
