Metroid: SCARY METROID MOMENTS

Hellooooooooo! Samus here! Today I'd normally be posting something about the Metroid games, but today, I'm doing something a little different. "Why?" you may ask....

TODAY IS HALLOWEEN!!!

So today I'm going to have some spoopy (not really) Halloween fun. I'm going to find some of the scariest moments in the game... If you have played Metroid and found a moment a little spoopy tell me in the comments below!

So one of the scariest moments to me is when you finally get to the boss battle. Whether it be the Mother Brain or another villain, these moments always get your adrenaline going and your heart pounding. I mean, you've worked so hard to get to that point, and you want to show the boss who;s the REAL boss-you!

I think this is pretty true for any video game. I mean, I'm always a little scared when I face Bowser playing Mario! And Ganondorf from Zelda? They get your adrenaline going!

Zelda Skyward Sword side quests

Helloo Fierce Deity here! Today I will be talking about some Skyward Sword side quests in Skyloft. There are alot of side quests in Skyloft. Let's start.

WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!!!

(1) If you look for Kukiel, the little girl, go to the graveyard at night. Find the glowing gravestone and push it, the cupboard will then open. Go inside then drop down, then go along the wood planks and find the little shack. Go inside and you will find Kukiel and Beatruex. Beatruex will ask you to find gratitude crystals (you get them by doing deeds) so he can become human. I mean if I was a creepy demon thing I would want to become a human too.

(2) If you talk to Cawlin (after you defeated the imprisoned for the first time)he will tell you to give Karane a love letter. Or if you go to the dorm bathrooms at night you see a hand sticking out of a toilet asking for paper. You can either give Karane the love letter or the hand sticking out of the toilet. Either way you will get 5 gratitude crystals. That hand though. *Shivers*

(3) After defeating Bilocyte Professor Owlan will ask you to get him a strange plant. Who actually turns out to be Oolo the Kikwi. If Faron Woods is still flooded, you will find him on a log near the lily pad to the right of where you land. He wishes to live in a safer place than Faron Woods. How about Skyloft? Give him to Professor Owlan. There now Oolo and Professor Owlan are happy!

Donkey Kong Killed Mario & Luigis Dad?!?

                                            
     Hey guys princess peach here and today we have yet another post about violence between Donkey Kong and Mario. If you saw my last post I explained that Mario abused Donkey Kong in the first Donkey Kong game. However, there is no actual proof that the plumber guy is Mario. Regardless though, Donkey Kong was abused by whoever the plumber was.
    Today's theory is that the plumber in Donkey Kong was Mario and Luigis Dad. Here are some reasons why players think it's Mario and Luigis Dad instead of Mario. Mario loves Princess Peach, but the Plumber is in love with Pauline. Mario lives in the Mushroom Kingdom and the plumber lives in New York City. You never know though, Mario could've been going through a phase. Anyway, he is very similar in appearance to Mario, so, people have had there suspicions about the plumber being the father.
     At the end of Donkey Knong Junior, the plumber is killed and as we all know Marios dad is dead raising the suspicion that's the plumber is Mario and Luigis father.

BEWARE OF REPRODUCTION CARTRIDGES!

   Hey guys! You're probably wondering what a Reproduction Cartridge is. Well, I just found out myself, and it's not good. Lets say your shopping on line. Boom. You find a copy of Pokemon Blue. Brand new. For 12 bucks. And your thinking, "Dang! That's a good price!". But then it hits you. Why are they selling this for this low? Chances are, in the item description it says Reproduction Cartridge. And you're like, What's a Reproduction Cartridge?
    A Reproduction Cartridge, or simply Repro, are unlicensed games. They're fan made versions of the classics that we all know and love. The worst part? You can actually play these games in your Game Boy, NES, et cetra. Here's what makes it even worse that these guys are selling them. Repros are a form of Piracy. Now, I don't know a lot about whats legal and what isn't in your area. I do know that Nintendo has copyrights that these people are probably breaking, and I'm pretty sure THAT'S illegal. Now lets say for a moment that it's not illegal. YOU'RE STILL BEING A HORRIBLE PERSON. You're ripping off someone else's creative genius and that's not cool.

  So lets stop ripping of Nintendo! This is labeled under Pokemon because I just wanted to buy a game but all I found was repros! Stay safe out there gamers!

Top 5 Zelda Games

Hello everybody! So today we are going to jump right in! Now, you don't know most of my personal thoughts on Zelda, so today, I am going to give you my top 5 favorite Zelda games! These are COMPLETELY my opinion, you can like others and that is ok!!! Also, don't get me wrong! I love ALL Zelda games. These are just the ones I really loved. First, lets start with number five.

My fifth favorite Zelda game is Legend of Zelda Link to the Past. I love this game because of its awesome story and great soundtrack. The feature of traveling to and from the past and present, is something I personally love. It was also one of the originals and it will always hold a place among my favorites.

My fourth favorite Zelda game is Skyward sword. I love this game for many reasons. It has many twists and unexpected turns in its story line. Again, I also love the soundtrack. This title also portrays my favorite version of Zelda. She is just a normal girl with a big destiny. It has excellent gameplay along with awesome graphics. Overall, this game will give you a big case of the feels.

The Legend of Zelda Majora's mask is one of my absolute favorites. It has a dark and mischievous story line along with many sad and depressing moments. If this game doesn't have your heart hurting, then you need to see a doctor. I also love the masks. They give you so many abilities that make the quest so much easier. For example, the bunny hood makes the regular running trips through Hyrule Field less intimidating. This game was one of the most mysterious I've played. So many things that you must progress through the story to figure out. That's why this game gets number three.

My second favorite is Ocarina of Time. I just absolutely love this game. So many of my favorite characters are featured in this title. Such as Malon, Saria, Impa, and Ruto. Also as most of you know, Sheik, is one of the main characters in this title. I will be making a post later on why I love her so much. I also love the ocarina and all the songs you can play. This can be a very cheerful game. Well... Until *cough*cough* shadow temple* Wow, excuse me. The gameplay is quite cool as well, and I just love all the characters. The game also has just the right amount of temples necessary to completing the game. There are so many more reasons, but for the sake of time, we are on to number one!

I could go on for hours at end on how much I love this game. Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is by far, my all time favorite video game. I don't even know where to start! I love every little thing about this game. The darkness to it, the compelling story line, all the characters! This game contains my favorite Zelda character, Midna. Now I know, gasp!* it isn't Sheik?! No, Sheik is a close second but Midna has always been my favorite. Now, I have played this game before I could even read. So many childhood memories were of this game! It has the best storyline in all video game history (that is an opinion) and the best soundtrack too! Whenever I am bored, I will start a new save file, then BAM! Eight hours later I am still playing. This game, is so emotional and has such a great story line. Like I said, I could go on for hours, but I'm afraid I must go. I will be posting more about Twilight Princess soon.

Yeta! Warning:this post may contain spoilers for the game Legends of Zelda Twilight Princess

Hey guys! So first of I'm here to talk about yet again another Zelda character... YETA! She is the most adorable character in legends of Zelda! She becomes ill, and Link is sent to her, because she holds one of the mirror shards that he needs. Then Link needs to go  Treasure Chests where he gets Ordon Pumpkin and Ordon Goat Cheese. Those  ingredients then are added to the soup Yeto  has made for her. After consuming the soup, she becomes well, but then after she leads Link into the room, and gazes in the mirror she becomes Blizzeta. When Blizzeta is defeated she Yeta becomes well again, and Yeta and Yeto have some heart felt scenes.

Super Smash Sunday: Princess Peach Vs. Zelda

       

Sheik: Hey guys! Now we all know who's the best princess right? Yup we do. Z E L D A. All that you have to do is look at her. She is an awesome warrior pirate princess ninja. What is peach again, a princess in a poofy dress? Wow. That's interesting and cool! NOT! Zelda defends herself and doesn't need some weird plumber save her. In almost every Mario game, Peach is captured by a giant turtle. Zelda? Nope. She gives up her throne for the good of her people. Take ocarina of time for example, while link is on his journey to save the WORLD, she trains herself and joins the fight against evil. Peach? She sits there captured. Zelda has a sword and a magical light bow, peach has an umbrella. Why? I just don't know. Zelda also has magical powers and from what I know peach does not. I hope I have enlightened you, because now you now see the better princess.

Princess Peach:  Hey guys! Now I'm just gonna jump right into why Peach is the better princess. Well, for starters, if someone came up to you and said name a Nintendo princess, they would probably say Princess Peach. You know why? I'll tell you, Princess Peach represents the Nintendo princesses. She is the original Princess the OG, if you will. Aside from that there have been countless times Princess Peach has fought battles. There are lots of games were you can use Peach as a main character to fight battles, even in the classics. Princess Peach also takes care of her people. Most of her kindgdom is toads obviously, and she always asks Mario to save them first, showing that she cares more for her toads then herself. Princess Peach has lots of other combat skills then just her umbrella but sense you brought up the umbrella let me just name a few things it can do. It can make her float, float on water, block enemies, fight enimes and sweep enemies aside and those are just a few things it can do. Can Zeldas stuff do that?

Splatoon

Helloo Fierce Deity here. Today I will be talking about Splatoon. I have loved Splatoon for a while now. It is one of my favorite games because it is just so fun! Well let's get to it.

Splatoon is a paintball fight game. There is a twist though. You can become a squid and merge into the paint on the ground! So cool right? It is only on Wii U but maybe someday it will be on a new system, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. It has awesome game play, and the characters (called Inklings) are funny. You can go to many different stores in the hub to customize your Inkling. You can get different hats, shirts, shorts, shoes, and guns. My favorite gun is the blaster. It shoots ink rounds that burst like fireworks after a certain distance. It is also good when the enemies are hidden in the ink on the ground because you can shoot it right in the middle and the hidden enemies take a lot of damage. It is a one-hit-kill too.

Princess Peach: 5 Facts That will Blow Your Mind

           

    Hello my fellow Nintendo fans, its Princess Peach here bringing you another amazing, super fantastical, fun filled post. I am extremely excited to be bringing you five mind blowing facts about the majestic Princess Peach. Lets get started!!!

1) Original Princess Peach Appearance

    Let me ask you something my viewer. When someone is talking to you about Princess Peach, what do you think of or who do you see her as. Let me answer that for you. You probably think of her puffy pink dress, gold locks, jeweled crown, white gloves and maybe even her umbrella shes often seen with. That's what you think of visually of course. Well, the original Princess Peach looked much different. The box art of the first Super Mario Bros., drawn by the one of the creators of Mario himself, Shigeru Miyamoto, drew her a little differently. Princess Peach or Princess Toadstole at the time was seen as having, shorter hair, a very light brown to dirty blond hair color, a pink long sleeved dress and no gloves.

2) Princess Peaches Umbrella has a Name?

    Possibly one of the most underrated, forgotten characters in all of Nintendo is Princess Peaches umbrella. He technically qualifies as a character because he has a name and appears in a lot of Mario games. The umbrellas name is Perry.

3) Princess Peach can Fight her Own Battles

    In the Super Mario Bros. Comic, Princess Peach does in fact escape her kidnappers ALL BY HERSELF. She does it with no weapons just some awesome kung-fu moves and... a cape? 

4) Princess Peach Almost had an Evil Character Based on her
    Much like the evil character that's based off Luigi (Waluigi) developers considered giving Princess Peach an evil character that was based off of her during the development of Mario Tennis. In the end  they decided not to.

5) Who is Princess Peach's Best Friend
    Last but not least, who is Princess Peachs, gal pal or BFF. Well, Princess Peachs best friend is in fact Princess Daisy. Now I'm not just making this up. It has been confirmed by Nintendo that Daisy and Peach are, as they worded it, "Royal Buddies".

THERE'S A ROTOM IN YOUR POKEDEX?!

   Why is that title in all caps? Why it must be Pokemon Thursday! Whats up guys, Mudkip here and we're less than one month from Sun and Moon! WOOHOO! IN honor of us being one month away, we're talking about the new Pokedex. A new Pokedex I say? We all know that the Pokedex is the item you use to collect data and catalog Pokemon. What's better than a machine cataloging Pokemon? A Pokemon cataloging Pokemon! There's a Rotom in your Pokedex!

   Now, I don't know how I feel about this. I mean, does this Rotom always have to be in your party? I doubt that, but who knows. This is a first. Also, can I battle with this? Some good things that I like about this RotomDex, is that it adds personality. Instead of a boring old computer thingy, you have a floating Pokemon that follows you around! Awesome! Breath of The Wild: What we Know so far

Hey Guys! What's up! Today I will be doing a quick post on Zelda's new game, Breath of The Wild. Before I start, if you want to be totally surprised when you get the game, then simply don't read this. I don't want to ruin the fun for you. Also, I will not be giving ANY spoilers about the story at all, for I haven't watched any myself, because I don't like spoilers. Well you must be thinking, Breath of The Wild? Sounds interesting. WELL IT IS! Lets jump right in.

Personally, I am SO excited for this game! This game contains the largest map of any Zelda game, it will take hours just to explore it all! Also I love all the freedom you get. This game is also really realistic, not just the graphics. In Breath of The Wild, you must find or kill your own food. Maybe you will find an apple, or maybe you must kill a bison. Another thing is that your weapons and tools break, and you will have to find more. Also, you must find your own clothes, and I haven't looked at any spoilers, but from what I have seen, Link does not wear the normal green tunic, hat, and boots like all the other titles. I'm not for sure whether they will make an appearance in the game, but I think change is good every once in awhile.

From the looks of it, there is also a super cool new enemy called Guardians. They are large robotic creatures that chase you around from the looks of the preview. I am pretty excited for them! Lets just say they are more than what they look like ;). I will soon be making another Sheikah theory about their connection to Breath of the Wild.

Now, I almost wet myself when I saw this. If you own The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD deluxe edition, then you have the amazing wolf Link amiibo. If you have beat the Cave of Shadows in Twilight Princess (which you get to by touching the amiibo to the gamepad), then it will save that to your system. Now, if you tap that amiibo to the gamepad in Breath of The Wild, (only if you beat the cave of Shadows) Wolf Link will appear in your game!!! The number of hearts he has depends on the amount you had at the end of The Cave Of Shadows. He is very useful, since Link has no companion in this game. Wolf Link can hunt down and kill enemies, and wild game for you. Also he will be with you if you are lonely.

Metroid: THE MOTHER BRAIN

Hello everybody, Samus here! Today I am going to talk a truely horrifying villain, the evil of all evil: THE MOTHER BRAIN!
Dun, dun, dun! I know, sounds completely terrifying. Something to haunt your nightmares, right? I guess so! The Mother Brain is one of the main bosses in the Metroid game. In fact, this guy (or lady... Do evil brains have a gender?) is a reaccuring villian! The Mother Brain appears in the games Metroid, Super Metroid, Metroid: Zero Mission, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and Metroid: Other M. She normally sits in a glass tube, which the player must break to attack. She is an amazing villain, in fact, she was ranked the ninth best video game villain by IGN! Super Smash Sunday NES vs. Game Cube

Fierce Deity: The Game Cube is obviously better. The Game Cube came out in 2001 so the Game Cube is newer. The Game Cube has a controller that is not a rectangle like the NES. The Game Cube has a ton of awesome games including: Pokemon Ruby,  Pokemon Sapphire, The Legend of Zelda, and The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time. The Game Cube also has awesome graphics. Are you starting to see which one is better? Good.


Mudkip: The NES is obviously better because this is where Nintendo got their household name. As the first Nintendo Console, the failure of the NES would've doomed Nintendo. The NES also saw the creation of the Nintendo poster boy, Mario. I mean, can you think of a more iconic brother duo in the history of gaming? Without the NES, we would've never seen Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros. Nintendo wouldn't be this Empire in gaming without the NES.

Fierce Deity

Hello Fierce Deity here! Today I will be talking about ME! Aren't you so excited I bet you are cause I am. I know this is not Skyward Sword but it's my character. Let's dive in.

This is Fierce Deity he is seen in Majora's Mask. He does not have much facts on him but her are a few. In Majora's Mask you find his mask. You only have a mask if you are dying and someone plays the song of healing, so that begs the question who was there when he died to turn him into a mask? He was presumed to be a tall warrior god. He also he a double helix sword that can shoot  sword beams. Now here are some theories. (SPOILERS) At the end of Majora's Mask at the final boss battle against Majora's Mask you have to use the Fierce Deity Mask to defeat Majora's Mask. Could the Fierce Deity Mask be as powerful as the Majora's Mask or could it be even stronger. Who was the Hero and who was the villain here? How was the Majora's Mask turned into a mask? Did Fierce Deity and Majora already have a battle and someone lost and someone won? Someone had to be there to play the song of healing so this is a big mystery.

Mario is Abusive?!? The Backstory of Donkey Kong

                                           
    Hello everyone it's Princess Peach back with another post. Today's post is a bit of a twisted one, so, be prepared to have Mario ruined for you. Everyone loves the red overall wearing, mustache fanatic, Princess Peach saving, dressed in all red guy right, right? Well this backstory may change your mind.
     Clearly telling by the title you might have pieced together that Mario was in fact abusive towards Donkey Kong. What!?! Didn't Donkey Kong escape and kidnap some girl, go to some really high location and make Mario defeat all these crazy different things just to save said kidnapped girl. Yes, yes he did but he's not really the real antagonist in this equation. Turns out that Donkey Kong was actually Mario's pet ape in the past. The reason Donkey Kong escaped and went all awol in the first place is because he was being abused at home by Mario!!!
     Mario is a monkey abuser guys. I know, weird to think that the guy who is always helping and saving people was abusive towards his cute pet monkey!! I mean think about it DK never actually hurt anyone when he escaped (with the exception of trying to hurt Mario) you see, he simply just ran when he had the chance to escape. What does he get in return for being abused and neglected all these years, killed. Mario basically pushed him off a skyscraper.
     In conclusion first Mario abused and neglected DK, then when DK escaped, Mario killed him. Don't worry I'm fully aware that DK did in fact kidnap a girl, but he was scared and reacted poorly.

HIstory of the Gameboy

Hey guys! It's Mudkip and I'm bringing you another Pokemon post... in a way. Today we are talking about the Nintendo System that changed gaming. It didn't just change gaming. It brought it to a whole new level. It's by far my favorite Nintendo system ever! Why? Lets find out.
    Not only was the Gameboy the slickest new Nintendo System, it was hand held. You're probably thinking, "Whoa hand held big deal." But back in 1989 ya it was a big deal. (Fun Fact: Taylor Swift was born this year.) Not only was the Gameboy Nintendo's first hand held system, it brought Nintendo the best game they've ever made: Pokemon. WOW! Now you know why I'm doing this post! Not only did it bring you Pokemon, like that's not enough (Trust me, it is) It also brought you hand held versions of your favorite lessor games Like Legends Of Zelda, Ocarina of Time. Wow. This system is awesome! Let me know in the comments what your favorite hand held system is! Mudkip out!

Hyrule Historia

Hello everyone! Sheik here, and today, I will be talking about one of the most useful Zelda references ever. That's right you Zelda fans! I'm talking about Hyrule Historia.

 

 

I have found this book VERY useful. I find myself reading it over and over again because of how amazing it's content is! I mean, it is literally 237 pages of pure awesome. It contains concept art from the games, a complete timeline (except Breath of The Wild but that doesn't count). It goes through each game and gives a good summery in the timeline order. Also, the first 66 pages are completely Skyward Sword, since this came out about the time that it came out.

 

 

As you can see above, it also has a map to show the character design development over time. It also includes a complete map for Princess Zelda and Ganondarf.

 

 

This picture shown above is an example of what the summaries look like. Most of them are about five pages long, and are full of interesting facts. Also, in the Twilight Princess section, and Wind Waker section, it shows you how to decipher the language written in that era. Also in the Twilight Princess section, it proves the Hero's Shade IS Ocarina of Time Link!!! So now you also see that I am not crazy!!! It also explains most of the characters.

 

Up above here is an example of the "creative footprints". Here, it shows many design sketches for many of our beloved characters. As you may see, this shows Skyward Sword Zelda, and her many possible looks and outfits. There are so many pages filled with possibilities!

 

Also in the back of the book, is a small part of the Skyward Sword manga. Now some of you may be like "ew! manga!" but hear me out. If you love to know all things about a game, then you must read this. I mean, this is like the beginning of all the timeline! It tells of the time of Hylia's Hero, and the first loftwing, and when Skyloft was first created! I highly suggest reading this.

 

So now do you need to go buy this book right now? Yup, I thought so. Well, I'm not going to keep you from following your dreams, so I'll stop talking. Fire Flower VS. Ice Flower

Mudkip: The Fire Flower is obviously the best power up in all of Super Mario Bros. Not only does it make you, Super Mario/Luigi, it allows you to instantly take out enemies. The Ice Flower only allows you to delay an enemy. Half the time you end up freezing an enemy bigger than you, and his frozen form blocks your path! Why would you want to save the lives of the monsters that captured your Princess? The Fire Flower also allow you to take out enemies from a distance!


Zelda: The ice flower is obviously the best because you only freeze your enemies instead of hurting the poor things.  You also need to freeze some of your enemies to throw at start coins. Your enemies might not even be your enemies, the reason i say this is because Bowser might have brainwashed them! Instead of being a animal killer you dont have to harm em' just freeze em'.

Zelda Skyward Sword Trivia

Helloo guys! Today I will be doing Skyward Sword trivia! Now I will give you some questions about Skyward Sword (random), and you will be answering them. (The answers will be at the bottom.)

Answers: (1) After Zelda gets sucked in the tornado, Headmaster Gaepora gives you the suit. (2) After Zelda is taken you go to sleep. When you wake up Fi is outside waiting to lead you somewhere. (3) He lokks very similar to the Happy Mask Salesman from Ocarina of Tima and Majora's Mask. (4) It is from The Legend of Zelda when the old man gives you the sword he states that it is dangerous to go alone. (5) It is from The Legend of Zelda also, where if you give a bokoblin bait he will tell you a secret.

Side Character Conspiracy Theories in Mario

    

   Hey guys Princess Peach here back at it again with the Mario posts. Okay honestly the Danielle trend has not been a trend for like months now, so, I apologize for using out of date trends. Anyway today I am going to be talking about side character conspiracy theories in Mario. Obviously there is a lot of conspiracy theories about Mario and Luigi, but what about Yoshi conspiracy theories or Toad conspiracy theories? Any-who, lets jump right into the theories shall we?
 

                                                 

   The first character conspiracy theory is Princess Peach. It is the theory that Princess Peach actually has an evil twin sister. I personally find this one hard to believe but I still thought it was interesting and wanted to review it. The theory goes that Princess Peach has a twin sister identical to her. Princess Peach was always getting all the attention and the twin sister was extremely jealous! The twin sister grew up and married Bowser. She knew that Mario was madly in love with her sister Peach so she devised a plan to ruin Mario's life. They together decided that they would act like Peach was getting kidnapped all the time in hopes to kill or seriously injure Mario or simply just make his life more complicated. Therefor if this theory was actually true, the love story and almost all of the Mario story we have come to know and love would be a complete lie.
    The next theory is a Donkey Kong theory. The theory goes that the Donkey Kong from the arcade game is not the same one as the Donkey Kong in the main series. It is a pretty simple theory really, Pauline from the Mario Vs Donkey Kong games hasn't aged. Whats wrong with that? Well, shes the same age as Cranky Kong and he is now elder but she isn't. That would mean that that would be a completely different character. Which would mean that Donkey Kong would also be a different character than from the originals.
